Visitors are always welcome downtown.
Redlands—A destination worth exploring!

Historic downtown Redlands is situated in the heart of the community and beckons visitors with welcoming tree-lined streets, quaint shops, and a variety of dining and entertainment options. Visitors can easily hop on one of Redlands trolleys and head straight for downtown.

Downtown Redlands is the place where you will undoubtedly discover a bounty of unique shops, galleries, and institutions. Shops with the popular styles of home décor, up-to-the-minute fashions, skate and snowboarding gear, and personal services are just a sampling of what is available to you.

If you are looking for great ambiance, try downtown for dining! If you fancy the fare an English pub offers, Greek cuisine, hot n’ spicy Mexican food, or even crave a good ol’ burger, our downtown restaurants provide all that and a whole lot more! Find one of our specialty bakeries or ice cream parlor to make your experience complete.

Home of one of the most successful farmers markets in southern California, downtown Redlands is the place to be for social activity. Established in 1988, vendors continue to vie to participate in Redlands Market Night, which has attracted thousands of people weekly since its inception.

Redlands Market Night visitors are welcomed into an inviting atmosphere complete with twinkle-lighted trees, brick sidewalks, historic buildings, and great musical entertainment. Crowds are pleasantly surrounded by over 150 food and merchandise booths, not to mention the downtown shopkeepers, every Thursday night from 6 pm until 9:30 pm. Discover the mouth-watering seasonal fruits and vegetables from local growers, lovely cut flowers, a huge variety of roasted nuts, and freshly baked breads in our certified farmers market.

Historic downtown provides a glimpse of the past with its turn-of-the-century architecture. Pedestrians can learn about the community’s beginnings by reading the plaques that have been installed on historically significant buildings. An easy walk around downtown will not only introduce you to Redlands’ past, but affirm the city’s charm.
