About the San Bernardino Community College District
The San Bernardino Community College District (SBCCD) is one of 72 community college districts within the California Community College system, the largest educational system in the world. SBCCD has an 80-year history of providing quality and affordable vocational, occupational, and workforce training programs to our community through the District’s two colleges, the Professional Development Center (PDC) and KVCR TV-FM.
The District serves over 30,000 students annually through San Bernardino Valley College and Crafton Hills College. These colleges are comprehensive community colleges offering a full range of degrees, transfer programs to the four-year system, and certificates in a full range of careers. Both colleges are accredited by the Western Association of Schools & Colleges (WASC).
The PDC was established to provide meaningful short-term professional development programs, customized training for employers, and full-service support for working adults.
KVCR FM-TV is Southern California’s first public television station and the Inland Empire’s avenue to National Public Radio. It also offers telecourses through Valley College and Crafton Hills.
